This workshop is aimed at managers who have responsibility for recruitment, planning initial staff inductions and supervision. It will provide you with the tools you need to ensure the procedures you are following are fair, consistent and professional.

    The workshop will comprise of the following issues:
     
  How to review & assess newly vacant posts and produce relevant documents such as Job Descriptions, Person Specifications and Adverts.
  How to carry out short listing that is compliant with the Person Specification.
  How to carry out interviews that are fair and consistent even when you have internal applicants.
  How to ensure a well planned and appropriate induction is in place prior to a new member of staff starting.
  How to implement an effective and consistent supervision process for staff.
